My name is Jennifer, and I’m a professional American Sign Language Interpreter based in Thunder Bay. From an early age, I was drawn to the richness and diversity of ASL, the way it brings people together, and the beauty of expressing thought and emotion through movement. For me, interpreting is not just about words; it’s about building bridges, fostering understanding, and honouring the culture and community of Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals.

I have degrees in both the language itself and in Interpretation from Vincennes University, Sinclair Community College, and Wright State University in the United States. I am a proud member of the Canadian Association of Sign Language Interpreters and The Ontario Association of Sign Language Interpreters.

Some areas of interpreting I enjoy are theatre, education, and medicine.
